Subject: Complimentary Ticket to Hear Marilyn McCord Adams, Regius Professor of Divinity, University of Oxford. 21 April 2pm

Dear Friend in the Diocese of London

We are offering on a first come first served basis 20 FREE tickets to hear Marilyn McCord Adams, Regius Professor of Divinity, University of Oxford, who is delivering the Keynote Address note at our Annual Conference on Saturday 21st April.

The title of her Address is 'Leaven in the Lump of Lambeth: Spiritual Temptations, Ecclesial Opportunities' and forms part of a series if initiatives which LGCM is hosting in the run-up to the Lambeth Conference next year. I am sure you don't need me to emphasise how topical and critical issues of sexuality are for the Anglican Communion. We are fortunate that Marilyn wishes to contribute to the debate.

The Keynote Address is a public lecture, followed Questions and Workshops, two of which will be facilitated by Marilyn.

Non-members of LGCM are particularly welcome at the Keynote Address which begins at 2.00. You are welcome to stay as long as you like – the conference ends at 5.00, with a closing act of worship at 16.45.

You would be welcome to arrive from 1.00.  Please be seated by 1.50

Lunch & refreshments will be provided, if requested in advance for a payment of £10.00 on the day

Location
St Alban's Centre, Baldwin Gardens, HOLBORN EC1N 7AB

Transport nearest tube is Chancery Lane (Central Line) or bus numbers 8, 17, 25, 45, 46, 242 or 341. Holborn Tube is almost as convenient

To reserve your ticket please reply to this email with your full name, address, and telephone number stating the number of tickets you require.

An outline of the programme is at

http://www.lgcm.org.uk/conferernce2007/conference2007.html

but this site should only be used if making a registration for the whole conference for which, of course, a payment is requested.

This mailing has been sent to selected contacts in the diocese of London. Please share it with colleagues and friends.

I hope you will be able to attend the Lecture as our guest.

Any questions? Call me.

Best wishes,
