On Maundy Thursday, March 28, we will have a special service at 7:00 pm in the sanctuary featuring the Lord’s Supper and the stripping bare of the altar and the dimming of the lights.
Join me on Good Friday, March 29, at 12:55 pm at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church (across the street from Kroger on West Bellfort Ave) for a 20 minute service including my brief reflection on Jesus’ saying from the cross: “Woman, here is your son,” as part of Salem’s Tre Hour service.
During worship on the next two Sundays we will receive the One Great Hour of Sharing Offering. This annual Special Offering supports the works of Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, the Presbyterian Hunger Program, and Self-Development of People -- programs that continue to make a huge impact in the lives of others across the globe. Our prayers are with Dave Nelson and his family upon the death of his father in Moline, IL. Also, Parnell is back at home after spending the weekend in the hospital.
