Thursday, October 24 | 5:30–7:30pm Mt. Scott Community Center
Celebrate the Grand (Re)Opening of the newly renovated Mt. Scott Community Center! The center closed to the public on November 22, 2023, for construction, reopened on a limited basis on September 2, 2025, and will be fully open and operational in January 2026.
This updated and expanded facility has grown from 31,000-square-foot building into a two story 70,000-square-foot modern recreation facility.
- New fitness rooms, event spaces, classrooms, and offices.
- Upgraded roof, HVAC, seismic, and fire-safety systems.
- Beautiful new windows and modern design throughout.

Halloween Flash Mob
Saturday, October 25 | 2:30–3:30pm
Get ready to dance! Join our free community flash mob. No rehearsal needed — just show up and move to the beat! Family-friendly and open to all ages. Costumes encouraged but not required.
Enchanted Pumpkin Patch
Sunday, October 26 | 9:30–11:30am
A free magical Halloween event designed especially for little pumpkins (ages 2–6)! Enjoy crafts, a scavenger hunt, indoor park play, and coloring pages.
Trunk or Treat
Tuesday, October 29 | 5–7pm
Join Sun Community School for a free evening of trunk-or-treat fun! Families are invited to dress up, enjoy decorated car trunks, and collect treats.
New Columbia Harvest Hoopla
Wednesday, October 29 | 4–5pm
In partnership with The Regence Boys & Girls Club and Community Education Center, join us for games, goodies, a haunted house, and a costume contest! This free, all-ages event is the perfect way to celebrate the season with your community.
Turkey Basket Giveaway

Boo Bash!

Wrap up the week with one last Halloween celebration! Enjoy spooky fun, festive games, and sweet treats at this beloved community event. Family-friendly, full of fall cheer, and a great way to celebrate together before Halloween night!
Glow Tennis
Friday, November 7 and Saturday, November 8 | 6–9pm
Join us for two nights of glow-in-the-dark fun with music, and pro instructed tennis games! Wear something white or bright, glow necklaces and racket tape will be provided. Games available for juniors, adults, and families.
Registration for Glow Tennis begins Friday, October 24.
