Winter registration opens Thursday!

Winter registration starts Thursday! General registration for Winter classes starts Thursday, December 12, beginning at 9:30am for activities January 6 through February 9 and select 10 week classes. Check out Winter activities in the guide available online or pick up a hard copy at any community or arts center.  To register, you can visit any community center, call the Customer Service Center at 503-823-2525, or register online via the ActiveNet registration system.  Special note about EPCC swim lessons Due to an ongoing HVAC replacement project at East Portland Community Center, swim lessons are only available during the first part of the winter session: January 6 through February 9, 2025. We encourage you to register for classes during this time. Join us as we look forward to a more comfortable environment for all. A forever class at SJCC Work with instructor Terry Louie in St. Johns Community Center's easy calligraphy class. Learn eight basic strokes to write the character "yong," which means forever (pictured left). Use Chinese ink, brushes, rice paper and wool felt to create an experience. For more information, call SJCC at 503-823-3192.  Limited registration for class at PPCC Peninsula Park Community Center (PPCC) is now offering Nia - A cardio workout! The new class begins on January 9. Participants 18 years and older are encouraged to register online for the class which mixes jazz, martial arts, and modern dance. Only 10 spots are available.
