There are still a few available spots in Free Swim Lessons at all PP&R swimming pools!  Register online, in-person at any PP&R Community Center (outdoor pools open June 18) or by phone 503-823-2525. Register For Free Swim Lessons Outdoor Pools Open Thursday, June 18 Summer is here and PP&R Outdoor pools open this week! Here are some key dates and information to remember before you swim.  All Portland Parks & Recreation Pools are closed Wednesday, June 17 for an all staff training. All Portland Parks & Recreation facilities have limited hours Friday, June 19. Oregon Health Authority water safety rules will remain the same as Summer 2025.  Swimmers ages 10 through 13 will not be required to have an accompanying adult while attending a PP&R aquatic facility. However, OHA continues to recommend that children under age 14 be accompanied by an adult, and PP&R supports that recommendation.  Outdoor Pool Locations and Schedules: Enjoy Free Open Swim times at all Outdoor Pool Locations all summer long.
