I drive the AM bus route from JPIIHS to St. Rita every morning. Every day at 7:20 a single Mom and her 4 kids walk by the bus on their way to school. I wave at them and we exchange smiles. The baby boy is in a stroller and the other three walk with mom holding hands. The past week the kids on the bus and I have not noticed them walking by. I saw the lady today and asked her where they have been. She told me her 5 month old son is very sick and the 11 year old boy stays at home to watch the baby while Mom takes the girls to school. These people are in need. If you can give a little bit more this holiday season, please email me or call. Our plan is to surprise them Thursday morning as they walk to school seeing as that it will be our last day before the Christmas break. If you can give, then call me. I will come get whatever you can give even if you can not get to me. Thanks.
