Green Energy

You may have seen that in the last See Round, there was an Advertorial about the Parish Buying Scheme. This includes 2 green energy tariffs from Good Energy and Ecotricity. In 2009, the St Albans Environment Group separately negotiated a deal with Ecotricity.

 

Can I ask if anyone in the group has ever taken advantage of either of these schemes? What are your experiences? Is your parish using any green tariff?

There is a new Transition Town project in St Albans called Transition Street. They are promoting bulk buying schemes in energy. Their web is  http://transitionstalbans.org/transition-streets/ they may know someone
