Hello everyone,
I just wanted to send an email reminding you all that tomorrow's meeting (10/05), both EBoard and General body, are canceled. However, in place of our meeting time between 5-8, it is MANDATORY that you all attend the Haunted Happenings Parade in collaboration with RHA unless you have already discussed with me why you can't attend.
Please wear any SSU, RHA or NRHH apparel that you have. We will also have face paint and fake blood if you all would like to dress up, if not, just wear SSU apparel.
As far as food and transportation go:
- Before the parade: There will be two buses that will stop by ATL and Bowditch at 4:45 and 5:15 to pick up and bring people downtown. There will be pizza in the ATL seminar room before the buses come around 4/4:15 for anyone who would like to eat before we go.
- If you are unable to make the second bus at 5:15 to bring you downtown, you can meet us at Shetland park which is located on 27 Congress st.
- After the parade: There will be buses bringing everyone back to campus from 8:30 pm until about 10 or 10:30 pm. (I think they will also be having more pizza right after the parade at the meeting point around 8, but I'm not entirely sure of that)
Also, because RHA is extremely busy at the moment and can only currently bring 2 people with us along to conference between all of the applicants, RHA's EBoard decided to pick the 2 delegates and the 4 alternates last night after a long discussion. The way we decided was that because we are only allowed to bring 2 people (not including alternates unless NEACURH eventually allows them to come) that it would be best to bring one new person from NRHH and one new person from RHA that have never experienced a conference before. However, the people who were not picked for this RLC Conference will be top priority applicants for the Spring Conference and/or the National Conference.
Ges was chosen to come as the delegate and Sarah was chosen as an alternate. As said before, if you weren't picked for this conference and you applied or were planning to apply, you will be a top priority applicant for the next two conferences.
If anyone has any questions, please feel free to reach out.
Have a great night,
Hayley
