Dear Friends and Colleagues,
I’m thrilled to share something deeply meaningful to me—after months of hard work and collaboration, the first issue of the International Journal of Psychosexual Therapy has officially launched!
This is more than just a publication—it’s the official journal of the International Association of Psychosexual Therapists (IAPST), an organization I’m proud to help lead. The journal represents a significant step forward in building a truly interdisciplinary, international, and clinically grounded conversation about psychosexual therapy.
For me personally, this moment marks a major milestone in our ongoing effort to professionalize and elevate the field of sex therapy. We are creating something lasting—something our field has needed for a long time—and I would be honored for you to be part of it.
As a small gesture of thanks and celebration, I’ve attached the full issue of the journal for you to enjoy. Please feel free to share the journal with colleagues, peers, and anyone else who may benefit from or be interested in this important work. You are free to share this copy of the journal via email, listserv, forums and any type of online discussion boards.
If you’re a mental health practitioner and not already a member of IAPST, I encourage you to consider joining. This organization is truly doing meaningful work—not just in education and training, but in setting professional standards, publishing, and building global community.
And if you or your colleagues are doing work related to sexuality or relationships I would love to see you submit an article for a future issue. We are accepting papers on a rolling basis. They can be submitted online.
With gratitude and excitement,
