HI members,

HOPE WE ARE ABLE TO LEARN SOMETHING FROM THIS AND FOLLOW

10 things to learn from Japan- after their catastrophe :

1. THE CALM
Not a single visual of chest-beating or wild grief. Sorrow itself has
been elevated.

2. THE DIGNITY
Disciplined queues for water and groceries. Not a rough word or a crude gesture.

3. THE ABILITY
The incredible architects, for instance. Buildings swayed but didn’t fall.

4. THE GRACE
People bought only what they needed for the present, so everybody
could get something.

5. THE ORDER
No looting in shops. No honking and no overtaking on the roads. Just
understanding.

6. THE SACRIFICE
Two hundred workers stayed back to pump sea water in the N-reactors.
How will they ever be repaid?

7. THE TENDERNESS
Restaurants cut prices. An unguarded ATM is left alone. The strong
cared for the weak.

8. THE TRAINING
The old and the children, everyone knew exactly what to do. And they
did just that.

9. THE MEDIA
They showed magnificent restraint in the bulletins. No silly
reporters. Only calm reportage.

10. THE CONSCIENCE
When the power went off in a store, people put things back on the
shelves and left quietly

DO READ.

Well it is for eating..

My question is are we fit to learn descipline? Do we have the word Descipline in our dictionary.. or is it erased?

See how people run to the gates to the flight as soons as the boarding is announced... or see how people open the over head cabins the minute the flight slows down on the tarmac for moving towards the terminal/ gate

wecannot change over night.. we are just sixty years young and we have to wait.. see how we fight for increase in the reservations.. we sar still backward how can we be desciplined.

Long way to go sir,

Yatharajah Tatha Prajah.. we have such leaders and ministers who openly wage wars in the August Assembly... can they bring descipline? With what Face?

Best Wishes

Ramakrishna

Please do not undermine ourselves.
Read the point 9. It says 'no silly reporting by Media'. So, all the remaining points of greatness are due to non-reporting by Media. In the absence of such reporting we tend to assume and impart greatness to Japanese.
