Hi all!
I’m wondering if there are any groups that regularly go along the Lake Street Corridor between 35w and Cedar Ave to do outreach (other than LEAD)?

Yes, I’ve been going out on Mondays from 1ish-3😊 to do exchange (took a month off bc of being sick/holidays/weather). Was back out again this week! Was going out with DID folks who do housing on the lake street corridor, now going out with Hennepin Disease Investigators 😊

Generally all of lakestreet from Mcdonalds (uptown) to Mcdonalds (longfellow)😊
Great! I’m glad to hear that someone is getting out there. I know that there is a bigger concentration around Ventura Village and Phillips but I was just thinking about Lake while I was home sick for two days… Haha!
Good afternoon!
Avivo Street Outreach frequents both the Cedar/franklin and Lake street/35w area providing referrals, supplies, and CES assessments.
Kassie was sharing the team often sees and connects with folks from Southside harm reduction and indigenous people task force who are also providing services to both areas. She noted they also see several other teams out in the field, often looking for a specific
client, distributing meals, or doing wound care/addressing health concerns (HAT team, Minneapolis homeless response, street works, Health care for the homeless etc). Streets to housing does pop up events at the Lake street/35W transit station, offering housing
assessments and shelter options.
Don’t mean to speak for any of these teams who are in this email chain – just noting they are all part of a solid response in that area and our team appreciates being part of this larger response.
