IIM- Human Resources Development Centre, Kalpakkam-Chennai and Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, IIT Madras, Chennai. The course would provide the practising engineer as well as the academician who needs to understand the capabilities and limitations of various materials characterization techniques for taking an informed decision in their materials related activities. This course intends to provide a perspective on characterization of materials by emphasising the basic principles of the techniques, their applicability and the latest developments. The course also includes demonstration of various characterization techniques that are discussed in the course. Expert faculty members of IIT Madras will conduct the course.
