Subject: Invitation of 6 days short term course on “FEM"- March 4-9th 2019-Mechanical-Reg.
Dear Colleagues,
The Department of Mechanical Engineering,KTR campus is conducting a 6 days short term course on “Finite Element Method(FEM)" to be held on March 4-9th,2019 by Eminent professor from reputed Institution and Industrial experts.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
The major problem facing the engineering analyst contemplating the use of the technique lies in acquiring appropriate knowledge to provide assurance that the nite element model produced gives a reasonably reliable representation of the “real life” problems being analyzed. The present course is designed to bridge the gap between the theoretical Finite element knowledge and its industrial applications by providing sufficient insights in to the relationship between the physical data(e.g.Loads, boundary conditions, constitutive behavior, etc.) and the finite element equations.
This lecture will represent the details of underlying theories and the derivation of the governing equations, finite element model development and applications. It will cover the applications of linear finite element analysis of problems from heat transfer, fiuid mechanics, solid and structural mechanics, and general field problems.
We request you to kindly remind and circulate this among your faculty members, research scholars and encourage them to participate in this Short term course on FEM.
For Registration, please contact Dr.P.V.Jeyakarthikeyan and Dr.V.Thamaraiselvan, Asst.Prof/Mech,SRM Institute of Science and Technology,Kattankulathur- 603203, mail
