Hi Gerry – Thank you very much for offering to help. Can you name a couple of dates/times that you'd be free for an interview? It won't take more than a half hour!
Also – If you could put the word out to other people in the IT field in Canada that would be great. We're looking especially for those who would fall into the categories of: ISV, web developer, web agency, hoster, or systems integrator. We are looking for people who develop for external customers not those who develop for personal or internal company use.
If you know anyone who falls into these categories please let us know and we will try to contact with them. We can offer an Info-Tech cost cutting report (that I'll also send to you for your help if you're interested) and we can put interested respondents into a draw for a new iPod touch (your name will be entered as well).
Thank you again and I look forward to speaking with you soon.
Tara

Canadian research buddies
Hi Tara and Ileana,
I'm happy to help out if I can be of service. I can also put the word out to
other people I know in the IT field here in Canada. Just let me know what types
of people you need.
Thanks for the kind words, Esther. I have plenty of people in my life to
inspire me to kindness.

Hi, Gerry. As I promised, I'm putting you in touch with my buddies at
InfoTech Research Group. They're doing a custom market research report about
the technology choices that developers make. It makes sense to get a sanity
check before they finalize the questions (and multiple-choice answers) that go
out to hundreds of people who'll take the survey. I'm hoping you can spend a
few minutes with them to help 'em ensure their heads on screwed on straight.
Tara and Ileana: Gerry described himself thusly: "I'm not a developer,
though I was in a previous life heh. Actually started out in a Microsoft
Solutions Provider shop a little over a decade ago. Now I focus on Agile
coaching mostly." In my book, "Agile coaching" is still
development, since you're working to ensure that software serves the business
need. <smile>
Gerry is also an incredibly kind person. You can peek at what he's up to at http://gerrykirk.net/ or http://twitter.com/gerrykirk
