Beckenham have been searching for backups for the past 3 weeks to help alleviate the shocking length of injuries to two of their key defenders. Both still have WEEKS to go, and reinforcements have come in.

Last week two lads from the free transfer list were added, and one even had to play in the fortunate (and incredible) win over Flyboys.

Speaking of Flyboys, Beckenham boss, and former Supermarket United gaffer, tried to raid his former side. Negotiations were tough, and long. But, eventually, Darren Marroquin has agreed to join the club. He should be arriving just in time for the sides game against Shieldfield United.

Beckenham sit in fourth - somewhat surprisingly, but it is ever so tight in this division - except Middletown who are starting to break away.

The caretaker manager would love 3 or 4 more wins which may be enough to avoid relegation.
