Hi All,

Theme of the gathering is Savji Juman. Dress code will be silk saree. Planning to have everyone at 5 pm so that kids can play for a long time and adults will no longer be fill rushed unlike last time get-together.......
 
Below is the menu:
appetizer
fish or prawns etc.
egg puff etc

Yadmis/Yodu - Deepaly
mutton curry - Deepaly
kharu boti - Roopa
keema bolls
birangi/masala bath
 potato or egg curry for vegetarians
karanji - Roopa

My brother & family -Vijay & Sumedha Dhondi with their recently turned 1 yr old daughter Riya from Chicago.
Roopa Tak's sister & family- Vandana & Ram Pawar with their Anmol(8 yr) and Sanvi(3 yr) from Raleigh.
Shailesh Tak's cousin brother & family- Atul & Asawari Khanapure with their Ayush(4 yr) and Avani(1 yr) from Houston.

Let me know if more family's are visiting us.

Hello Everyone,

 

We also want to add a surprise 1st B'day party to the little RIYA from Chicago, so early meet-up makes sense.  It will be just a cake cutting with showers of blessing and wishes to the little RIYA....and shhhhshhh.....it is a surprise to Riya and her parents...

 

Savji Juman, sounds very exciting.  Since, it is a festive get-together for Dushera n Diwali n Thanksgiving celebration, everyone are very excited about dressing up traditionally.  The menu looks sumptuous.......The visitors also want to participate in the potluck, to detail up Deepalys menu our Savji Juman looks something as below....
