My Dearest Brothers and Sisters,
Lots of Love coming your way with the good news in this email! You will be happy to note that the Sathya Sai International Youth Leadership Team will be running the 2nd Program starting very soon! Most of the training will be delivered online, with a 4 day residential program at Puttaparthi, just before the International Youth Festival.
Being a graduate of this program myself, I must share that the wealth of knowledge I've received through the process, the discipline of keeping track of my progress and the ability to juggle studying, working and an official sai role has been an intense and fulfilling experience. The icing on the cake would have to be the residential modules in Swami's very own institution during which we received fantastic training from inspiring individuals. Most importantly, I got to meet a fascinating lot of new brothers and sisters from around the world, each more inspiring than the other, who are with me on my journey from, through and to Sai - Overall, SSIYLP has been a wonderful opportunity & blessing. Bro. Roshan from Nepal & Sis. Roshini from Malaysia also graduated from the 2015 program, feel free to contact any of us for more information!
So what do you NYCs need to do?
1. Read this email and the Attachment to this email titled "20160101 SSIYLP Letter to Zone Chairs" to get more information about the program.
2. Identify Youth within your respective countries (Preferably Youth Leaders) who are interested in, and available to attend the program. Please make sure the Youth are available for all dates mentioned in the attached document. Feel free to join yourself - this program is for you too!
3. Discuss Nominations with your National Chairs and vice versa, and select between 2-5 nominees from your country and state your order of preference in an email to me, CCd to Dr. Ravi (Zone Chair) & Sis. Roshini (Secretary to Zone Chair). It is encouraged that each country in the Zone sends youth representatives.
4. Download and Fill in the Nomination form accordingly, completing all fields of information and rename the excel file SSIYLP Nomination Form 2016 (YOUR COUNTRY).
How long do you have to complete this?
Due date is 20th January. Sooner is Better. Please communicate this information to all your youth leaders immediately, so that they have time to deliberate on this opportunity.
I look forward to your positive feedback, and will be in touch via email & whatsapp. Should you require anymore information, always at Your Service! :)
Loving Sairams,
Saiusha
