Teacher Training Finale and Swami's Birthday Celebrations at Sathya Sai School, 25 November 2017

Sairam. A quick report on the 4th and finale part of the teacher training program, at Institute of Sathya Sai Education, San Pedro and Sathya Sai School, Pililla, which also coincided with celebrations of Swami's 92nd Birthday. Sis. Ching and teachers had organized a really nice program.

1. Senior KG and G1 children performed a nice  doxology, followed by Philippine national anthem. Older children then had two nice and energetic dance performances, followed by a dance by teachers.

3. Ms. Jaynie Lee, our former student and just graduated chemical engineer (after a tough 5 year program), spoke warmly about the School and teachers.

4. Sis. Ching, Teacher Rocel Vidanes, and Bro. Gulab then spoke, warmly recalling Swami's guidance and the role of Children, teachers and parents.

5. A cake was then brought with all of us singing Happy Birthday to Swami.

6. Close to 50 parents had come, including office bearers of PTA. Sis. Ching guided the meeting. She explained the origins of the School and how it operates. Noted the strong need for ownership and commitment from all parents. Bro. Gulab spoke lovingly of Swami's mission and how we are all servants in the mission of Love All Serve All. 

7. Parents then discussed for 30 minutes amongst themselves on supporting the school, including stronger security measures and upkeeping of the premises.

8. SSIO volunteers (Gulab, Paul and Ramesh) with Sis. Ching then took around VP Jesus Toloso of Frey Fil the building and planned for construction of 4 additional class rooms and possibly a closed playing arena.

Seeking Swami's Blessings for all the teachers for their tireless work, and their families for their support for His mission.

Immensely appreciating Sis. Ching's loving support. She drove 12 hours from Isabella to be in time late last night, and left at 5 am from San Pedro in the morning to join and guide the program. 

Overall, it was a very auspicious event. Literally seconds after the program and site visit on construction, it started raining gently as the weather was very cooperative (program held open air with light shamiana).
