Group,
We need to give St. Philip’s, Laurel, an answer to their offer of the Jamieson triptych to Saint Stephen’s. Last I heard, Gay was going to check to see if there was interest in a road trip to view the painting.
They have been waiting patiently for some time now. I think we owe them an answer. I’m setting January 30 as a deadline. If any of you is interested in seeing the paintings, please arrange to do so before that time. If seeing them persuades us of the wisdom of accepting them, well and good. If not, I am going to decline them, because that is how I read the sentiment of the group. The issue is that we have no place to hang them (which is true) and no good means of storing them on a temporary or permanent basis. If you disagree, please tell me now.
Thanks so much.
Frank
