I have installed the GUI version of sshuttle :

apenwarr-sshuttle-sshuttle-0.51-macos-bin-0-gcd15e2e.tar

I test my local ssh connection to the host (connected to the Internet), that works.

But I get the message Connecting...  in the taskbar and a ping to an external ip or does not work.
Any tips?

Additional question: Do I need a local install of sshuttle or is the GUI enough to get to work?

I tested further but neither the GUI version nor the commandline version of sshuttle works on my iMac with El Capitan 10.11.6.

shuttle --dns -vvr user...@192.168.3.1 0.0.0.0/0

Anyone got it to work on El Capitan?

Unfortunately the GUI is ancient, and hasn't been updated in years. As a
result it is no longer supported.

Sorry to have to give you bad news.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I was looking for a sshuttle GUI and came across this download:

....and I can reproduce the issue mentioned in the original thread on a system running macOS Sierra (v10.12.6).

I would dearly love this to work, especially if it had the ability to save passwords in the keychain and/or for it to work as a Standard (rather than Administrator) user.

I'm not a programmer at all, but would happily work alongside one for testing purposes. And I would happily donate funds for someone's time.

Would there be any interest in that?

I don't have the time or expertise myself.

I somebody however was willing to create a pull request and help fix
future problems as they occur, I would be willing to consider merging
the pull request.
