Brothers and Sisters,
As you know, Cablevision continues violating the rights of its Brooklyn technicians. Will you help us take the company in a more responsible direction?
We are asking our friends to please purchase 1 share of Cablevision stock now.
Cablevision is under the New York Stock Exchange, under the symbol CVC. One share of stock costs about $13.83. As a proud new shareholder in Cablevision, we will be inviting you to join us at an upcoming shareholders meeting to demand that Cablevision start following the law and act more responsibly. Will you participate in this unique effort?
Once you own a share of CVC stock, please email us (
emah...@cwa-union.org) so we can add you to our list of shareholders.
Our struggle to win a contract and rehire the illegally locked out techs in Brooklyn continues. Tens of thousands of people have emailed Cablevision demanding that they stop their union busting. The City Council's
Zoning and Franchise Committee just held a contentious hearing with Cablevision executives questioning whether they are now in violation of their franchise agreement with NYC. For an amazing video of this hearing, click here:
Some Cablevision Attorneys Walk Into a Hearing...
We are putting increasing pressure on Cablevision -- as owners of Cablevision stock, we can send a powerful messenger to the top executives that their contempt for workers and their disregard for the law must end. As shareholders, we will be making this demand soon.
In Unity
