New Fairway Store Location At Kips Bay - Leaflets Given To Potential Customers

Hello!

I was informed by my friend, who lives near the Kips Bay area, who had attended the Grand Opening of the new Fairway store (located at 550 Second Avenue at East 30th Street), discovered employees from Fairway, outside the store disseminating leaflets, explaining how several of the established Fairway store locations have rats / mice problems that have not been attended to properly.

The leaflet also explained that the Fairway union construction workers, who have helped to build these food stores, are not being paid standard area wages and benefits.

The leaflet was created by Local 7.

Below is a list of important contacts at Fairway, that was listed on the leaflet, who can be called, to request that their food store locations be free of rodents and consistently cleaned.  

In addition, it must be mentioned that the Fairway union construction workers be paid standard area wages and be provided with the proper benefits.
