Hello,

It's time for the annual TCEP Residency Visit.  While geared towards residents, students are invited and encouraged to attend.  This is a great opportunity to meet some state leaders in EM, as well as see some of the issues we will be dealing with as residents.  Also, this will be a great preview of the med student version that will take place in the Spring.  To sweeten the deal, breakfast and lunch will be served.

The BCM visit will be on Wednesday, August 1st from 8a-12p in N315 of the Alkek Building.

The UT-H visit will be on the following day, Thursday, August 2nd, from 7a-12p in MSB 3.001.

Also, Dr. Weltge from UT-H will be hosting a reception at his home on Wednesday evening.  This is a great opportunity to casually interact with residents and faculty, while also enjoying great food and drinks.  Details can also be found below.

The lectures will take place in room MSB 3.001 (3rd floor lecture hall) in the University of Texas Health Science Center-Medical School Building at 6431 Fannin, Houston, TX 77030.  The best parking is in the TMC Garage 4 (next to Hermann).

Dr. Arlo Weltge will host a reception honoring the TCEP Residency visit guests on Wednesday evening, August 1^st.  There will be beer wine soft drinks with BBQ & fixings. Residents and staff are welcome to stop by and grab a bite on way into or on way home from a shift.
