Reminder that our conference call is in 5 hours!
Just a brief outline for our call for tonight. I don't think we need
to spend a full hour - but please be prepared to do so just in case.
8:00 - Introductions
8:10 - Attendance: How many chapter members are you bringing?
8:20 - Arrival: When is your chapter planning to arrive?
8:30 - Lodging: Hostels in the Bay Area and rooming provided by UC
Berkeley
8:40 - Online Registration Set up and Registration Fee
8:50 - Conference Theme: What do you think the theme should be? The
Perfect Storm For Reform?

Sorry for the late notice on this, but I'll be giving a brief update
about legislation in California at the end of tonight's conference call.
In short, two of the bills we were pushing were not introduced by the deadline (Good Samaritan and student drug testing ban), so they won't be heard in Sacramento this year. However, we will still be pushing for these to be introduced next year. And, of course, we'll be advocating for Ammiano's marijuana legalization bill.
