Dear debaters,

The Jelutung Youth Tournament has been announced for June 22 and 23rd. At present, I know of possibly two SAS students who will be in Singapore and would like to debate in the tournament. I will be out of Singapore but Mr. Millar's travel plans may allow him to be in town. If not, a parent can chaperone an SAS team for the tournament. 

If we can register early there is a chance to include another SAS team. Each team can consist of a maximum of 5 people but we only need 3 committed debaters to form a team. 

Please let me know if you are interested in debating this tournament. You should first check with Mom and Dad about summer travel plans BEFORE confirming your interest and availability. 

There are a number of other debaters in grades 9 and 10 that I have not included in this email since I do not have their email address so please - especially Rohan and Varun - forward this announcement to them. 

Once I receive a list of eligible debaters we will sit down and sort out teams, etc.
