SSC Lasers,

It was great to get out and join you this saturday - nice solid breeze with plenty of puffs and shifts!  Unfortunately,  while tacking on one of those shifts I missed the hiking strap, backflipped in,  and snapped my tiller extension.  It was a bummer to retire just as the action was getting going.  I'll catch you again soon.

Do any of you race on weds nights?  If yes,  does that happen at SSC or in clearlake?

See you soon,
Luther

Sorry to hear about your gear failure Luther, it was pretty brutal out there, we didnt survive for that long anyway! On weds at SSC our windsurfers do racing but on clearlake there are races in a portsmouth fleet I think http://www.clearlakeracing.org/.

Myself and Sebastien are going to be packing our boats up at the club this weekend to take to Austin ready for the following weekend, so if anyone is up for more of the same this Saturday whilst we are down there let me know - say 1pm start?

The following weekend 30/31 Mar...Austin easter Laser regatta is always a good event with a big fleet of 20+ boats - myself and Seb will both be camping in the club grounds - anyone else coming? Alex? David? I will be heading over early on saturday morning to get there for 8am.

and if you havent seen sebastien's awesome footage of the weekend, it is on the seabrooksailingclub.org homepage on the right side

I am interested in sailing this weekend at SSC, weather permitting.  And then I am heading to Austin for the ELR.  Hopefully there will be wind this year!
