booking at naval or army mess

Dear Friends

 

Could any one tell me the ways of booking a room at naval transits in cmd mess mumbai. Are we as retired officers eligible to stay?. If yes what are the formalities.

what about Army guest house?

 

The purpose is for family stay for 02 days except self.

yes very much,  get the phone no of the mess u want to stay n talk to them,  else ask doodhwa or mandal da to book for you.

During my last search for the accomodation at command mess i came across the fact that our coursemate LtCdr Vikas Sood is Mess Sec there...he conveyed that any help for coursemate will be extended....

 

His humble gesture has solved my problem......and i thank him from the bottom of my heart...

Dear All,

Sorry for the delayed response. As per regulations in vogue,  we are permitted to book rooms across all armed forces messes. There is no distinction amongst ssc officers.

You must always send a written request (as e-mails still a taboo) followed by telephonic chasing up. Most messes have a standard form that can be used with all details.

For valsura, portblair, agrani, Delhi I can provide mess secretary's mobile numbers as required to individuals.

Please remember "first come first served" whilst making a booking and always follow it up preferably by paying advance money.

I had my family visited to Mumbai last week. For which Sood has been very helpful in getting us a room and arranged for the gate pass. Im deeply touched by his generosity despite of his busiest schedule and his leave plans, we could imagine Command Mess Sec could be into.

 

This is kind bonding and helping hand from each of us, for each other will take us a long way. We should always have a bond for each other despite where we are or what we are into. Hope all of you also think as i do.
