Report on Blood Hound
Date : 11th November, 2014
Venue : British Council
Class : X and XI
Teachers’ – Mr. Ravinder, Ms. Deepali, Ms. Navita, Mr. Gautam and Mr.
Sushant Khosla
A day with Andy Green, Wing Commander OBE
Our school is fortunate enough to attend a one on one session with the
Fighter Pilot , Royal Air Force, United Kingdom – Andy Green , where he
shared his experience about the “Blood Hound “ Super Sonic Car .
The students were amazed and thrilled to know about the features of the
car – about its design, weight , speed etc.
The walk to the British Council also encourages the students to pursue
Engineering as their career, as the Blood Hound represents the best of
Science , Innovation , Engineering and Education.
The awe – inspiring installation , along with trained Blood Hound
ambassadors generated an unforgettable experience for all the students.
Not only the students get to see the engineering marvel , they have also
asked the Pilot , Andy Green and ambassadors about the Super Sonic car ,
the purpose of designing such car, etc. They all were really surprised and
enthusiastic to know that the students of Universities in UK are also a
part of this project.
