HERE IS YET ANOTHER EVENT FOR ALL OF US TO TAKE GREAT PRIDE IN.
* As part of its GREAT initiative, the British Council is hosting
BLOODHOUND - A SUPERSONIC CAR designed to travel at over 1,600 kmph -
having a slender body of 14m length, weighing over 7 tonnes, and producing
135,000 horsepower - more than six times the combined horse power of all
the Formula 1 cars on a starting grid!
Please refer to the attachment for a Photograph of the BLOODHOUND.
* Soon after school hours on Tuesday , 2 vehicles ( Courtesy British
Council) will transport 50 students and 3 teacher anchors from Ashok Vihar
to the British Council premises where the BLOODHOUND is parked.
Later , the group will return to Ashok Vihar where Andy Green ( the driver
of this amazing car) will talk to the group about his experience of
driving the car. The primary aim of the talk is to share and inspire.
By around 5.30 PM the programme will end and students can be picked up by
parents.
* All of us can be proud of the fact that Presidium is the ONLY School in
NCR to have the honour of welcoming Andy Green and having an interaction
with him.
* Dear Shipra - It would be wonderful if we can video-shoot the event and
post on our website.
