Hi everyone,
At the next few Chicago Rationality meetings, I'll be introducing some instrumental rationality techniques from the Center For Applied Rationality (CFAR). CFAR aims to make people more effective and help them 'actually figure things out', drawing on research in cognitive psychology and behavioral economics. It's basically rationalist self-help, and it's super useful!
Chicago Rationality meetings are weekly at the same time and in the same place as yesterday's meetup, namely:
- Time: Sundays, 1-3 PM
- Location: Harper Memorial Library, 1116 E 59th St, Room 148
Feel free to organize your own events as well! These meetings are a little more formal/structured, so social events would be a welcome complement.
