Quick but (I think) cool note from an adjacent group:
I've been helping do some administration for the Fractal U program. Part of that is I think what' they're up to is cool, and as a rationalist I relate to their goals of following curiosity and gaining skills. This semester I'm extra invested because I'm going to try running a rationalist technique dojo under their auspices as well as a repeat of the pencil drawing class I taught last summer.
And then in our usual ACX/LessWrong news, a reminder that we've got two meetups this week.
- Wednesday Board Games tomorrow, on the 18th. (Aeronaut Brewery, 6:30pm.)
- Rationalist Hamlet Reading Saturday, on the 21st. (Evan's place at 70 5th St, Cambridge, at 2pm)
I have been wanting Rationalist Hamlet Reading since I moved to Boston pre-pandemic, so I'm excited :D
I hope to see folks at some meetups!
Best,
Skyler
