In February of 2012, State Street, a global financial institution with more than $25 Trillion of Assets under Custody and Administration and more than $2 Trillion of Assets joined with HCL Technologies, a global technology and outsourcing company with operations in more than 30 countries and 90,000 employees, to establish State Street HCL Services (SSHS)
Within a short span, SSHS is grown to more than 1200 employees in two countries, India and Philippines, across four different cities (Pune, Chennai and Coimbatore in India and Manila in Philippines). Employees at SSHS work across Capital Markets, Investment Management and Investment Services operations. Four out five employees have a degree in Finance or Accounting and go through an intensive four month training program to provide them an understanding of global financial services industry and an in depth understanding of the process they will be a part of.

"1. Partner with associates, managers, and support teams to deliver accurate and timely financial information to clients.
2. Accumulate and summarize portfolio activity.
3. Accumulate and summarize investor activity from the funds investor services agent.
4. Determine the value of the funds and allocate the profit and loss to each investor.
5. Prepare financial statements.
6. Assist in the preparation of year-end tax reporting for individual investors.
7. Work to support those communicating directly with Hedge Fund management and staff, brokers, and other 3rd parties.
8. Analyze unique and recurring situations; develop solutions with limited management interaction."

Note : There may or may not be a service bond depending upon the amount the Company/Industry spends on imparting training to freshers. Further there maybe a condition that if an employee leaves the job within certain prescribed time period the cost of training maybe recovered from the employee.
