I think the current idea is that there was only a small amount of dark
matter and dark energy at the beginning of the universe and then
suddenly at 9 billion years old the universe develops a huge infusion
of it. If we try to apologize this with Christian doctrine, maybe
this 9 billion year mark is the time when the devil and his angels are
imprisoned into creation and creation goes from being good to fallen.
Why there would be a little dark energy and dark matter at all in the
universe in the beginning for the first 9 billion years if the
universe were good, I don't know.
