Playoffs?

Did someone say playoffs?  It's hard to keep track when you've been looking up for so long.... my neck has been hurting since week 3 when I lost to Rob's crappy team.  I have been paying attention, however, just not around these parts. I did see the Top Dog around the neighborhood last week while on a run.  I have to report this chance meeting, as surprisingly and completely out of character Sandy was full of bravado.  He was trash talking the league saying it's been too easy since last year's championship and was bragging how he was going to roll through the playoffs again.  I of course, being the humble former multiple year champion myself, tried to impart some wisdom to this huge ego maniac, but alas he could only drone on about the weaknesses of every other manager.  He laughed at the sad teams that tied this year and had nothing good to say about those of us missing the playoffs.  He especially trashed the current playoff teams, saying Jim isn't worthy of his friendship, Jeremy is already past his prime, Mark is lucky he has Evan to make all his decisions, and Justin has his Dad dragging him down.  Those teams are literally "Sand"wiched with the other playoff team with a bye, and he said Wels will just screw it up in week 17.  After that it became clear to The Office of the Commissioner that we must root against a repeat from Sandy, and I suspect we all may feel the same way now.

However, it is true that we did run into each other.  The rest of the story…

Congratulations to Sandy Golf on a great season, and a well deserved win in the final!!  Ekeler was the difference maker.  Came close to repeating, and looking forward to another fun season next year!
