Respected Residents and Members of SRO RWA,
I am writing this email with great expectations that someone from the present executive body will take some pain and will at least acknowledge, if not respond, to the point being raised here. This is for the reason that none of my previous emails on registration renewal has even been acknowledged. Please also pardon my ignorance as I am also not aware as to who all exactly are presently members of our executive body and the constitution of sub-committees and their contact details. This ignorance is owing to my preoccupation elsewhere because of which I am no longer in touch with RWA activities and this is besides the point that the RWA has also off late chosen not to communicate through notice boards, rather allowing usage of the notice boards for various kinds of advertisements. The issue I wish to highlight is that we all know that our RO is not working for close of one year now and now the supply of ganga water is not available for a long time. Insofar as my understanding goes the repair/reconditioning of RO plant needs a total expense of around Rs. 2.25 lacs. Now since our builder has already repeatedly proven during last so many years that he is a thief of the highest order and will not do anything and also that our RWA /Residents do not have guts to get the things done from him, why are we still waiting for a charity from his side? Why not residents pool Rs 1,500 per flat (which is not even equivalent to cost of a meal for a family) and get the RO plant working to ensure supply of a good quality safe drinking water (especially after ganga water is restored) which can be taken through another domestic RO/filter system at our homes? I do not wish to elaborate further on the benefits (there are immense benefits even if residents subscribe to bottled water which itself has no assurance of its quality as anybody can visit their source and bottling premises and see for himself) and leave the judgment to the collective wisdom of the residents. I also propose that anybody can compare the taste of a glass of water from the bottle which you get from outside (even bisleri) with the water treated by membrane+UV RO system of my or anybody else’s home. The difference in taste, colour and smell will be very obvious.
Thanks & Regards

I also fully endorse the views of Rajanji. If our RWA /residents do not have guts to get the things done from the builder, then we should ourselves be prepared to get at least the necessary things done all by ourselves. For instance, even if we forget about the RO water for a minute, then what about other things? Is our fire system working? Are our security and safety alright? What about the condition of our lifts? Where is the jogging park and children’s play area as promised by the builder while they were selling the flats? The condition of our club and the ‘swimming pool’ (if anyone can swim at all) is already known. There is nothing like ‘open’ parking area as the parking is virtually on the road with no security around, but for which the builder has already charged hefty sums from us and the parking spaces have not been allotted to us as ‘charity’.
Surprisingly, the strangest of the strange things is that ask our residents and most of them seem to be ‘fully satisfied’ with the present state of affairs, as if we are living in Buckingham Palace! They even have the dexterity to ask you, “What we are not getting from the builder? What is wrong here?”
At most they would say, “Kya karein? Nahin hoga to ghar bech kar chal denge”!
So, what can you, I or anyone else expect from these people? After all, who can help those people who don’t want to help themselves? I don’t think that even God can!
I have lost my hope. If anyone has any hope left, then I can only wish them good luck!

(PS: Sorry if I have hurt the feelings of anyone. But this is what it is!)
Well, I agree with this proposal and ready to contribute.
Also prepare to take full responsibility by
keeping RO water plant working and further ready for regular maintenance and
management independently with one outsource person who will be fully custodian
of this plant under our guidelines.
Actually, we must do this type of arrangements asap otherwise builder may stop this plant by giving irrelevant excuses like pipeline got chocked due to no so called RO/Ganga water supply for 20 to 30 days and in this way he will be free from one more burden.
I advise Raman Thakur to run
domestic water in RO pipeline till the time RO/Ganga water supply restore just to
avoid any choking. He agreed on it but helpless being not getting any approval
from his higher authorities.
So, Can RWA take any initiative on it ?
Thanx,
