Hi,

SR2015 is now full; 53 teams are recorded on [0], and there's another
one coming through the pipeline at the moment. There are two from
Munich, one in Wales, and the rest from England.

The final kickstart allocations are going to look like this:

Bristol: 14
London: 13
Southampton: 23
Munich: 2
N/A: 2

This is a much more pleasant distributions of teams than in the past:
having 30 at Southampton is a serious squeeze.

In addition I'm aware of 2 other teams that might sign up, although
they're going to end up on a waiting list if they do.

In addition, two teams have suggested that they're going to run two
teams with one kit, with the view to either picking the best team to go
to the competition, or absorbing any kit that becomes free. I've made it
clear to these teams that there's no guarantee of getting a kit in the
middle of the year. The chances are high of course, as we've never run a
full competition.

I'm not aware of any other tasks that need to be performed inre
recruitment and team management for the next month or so, save:
* Reminding them about Kickstart and what they need to bring
* Wrangling London-specific details, which Sam is on top of
* Encouraging more account creation (see srobo-devel).
If anyone is aware of or thinks there are additional tasks to be done,
please speak up now.

Awesome, thanks for managing all this.

Cool. Have we allocated these schools two teams in LDAP? I think this
is what we did last year, and seems to make the most sense.

For one, yes (CRB), the situation is a little more fluid with the other
(CLY), as I was waiting to see whether more teams would sign up. As
we're now full, they definitely have to run in this configuration. I'll
make contact with the teacher and inform them how it's going to work.

Hi,

Things have chopped and changed a bit; some teams dropped out, some new
ones signed up. Here's a new assessment of who'll be where:

16 Bristol
10 London (one just picking kit up, no competitors)
2 London (Nak)
2 Munich
21 Southampton
2 Southampton (Nak)

Nak indicates they're not actually coming to Kickstart. In addition
there's one team who's just signed up in Suffolk: it's now way too late
and complicated to get them to come to London, so I'll probably ask them
to courier kit instead (or go to Southampton).

This makes a total of 7 kits to be couriered, if the new team end up
couriering.
