SR(A)WN 2017 -- 5

This is the fifth issue of the 2017 Student Robotics (Almost) Weekly Newsletter, a (roughly) fortnightly newsletter which summarises the goings‐on across Student Robotics. Emboldened items are ones which we believe could do with extra hands. An absence of emboldening does not necessarily mean that everything is done.

It's been a while since the last SR(A)WN, so it's definitely time for a new one.

Headlines

• Autosave has been removed from the IDE.
• Sam Phippen is moving to New York, many thanks to him from the Southampton branch, for everything that he has done for SR in the past ~9 years. 
• Kickstart has been announced and is on the 15th of October (this was technically announced before the previous SR(A)WN, but Andy failed to include it properly).
• The new website has broken existing gerrit setups, but there is a fix.
• Game discussion for Student Robotics 2017 has started. Game ideas have been submitted, and may be released for discussion shortly.
