Hello.

I'd like to do school interaction again next year [0]. I think I've done
OK so far over the last n years.

One frequent comment about school interaction (particularly since
mentoring got rolled into it) is that it won't scale up very well. I
think I've done OK on this front so far, and things like RT [1] will
vastly improve the flow of information between blueshirts.

However there's one thing that technology can't solve the scaling
problem for, which is the responsibility of ensuring / monitoring that
schools are continuously making progress throughout the year. Pumping
information at them and replying to emails is simple; encouraging
action, measuring progress and detecting problems is much more
difficult. Some kind of devolvement or delegation will need to occur
there. Due to the concentration of schools around Southampton, and
Bristol, this shouldn’t be overly complicated.

As we're apparently a democracy [2] I'm obliged to encourage you to vote
for me. Vote for me.

[2] Opinions on which I've already expressed [3]
[3] Mostly to do with it being a cop-out for actually having
discussions, evaluating ideas and making decisions that people agree
with. Also, what're you doing on my lawn?

Jeremy
