Hi,

So, if you are (or think you might be) available from 26/07/15 pm ->

here, or email me off-list if you prefer. If you're interested but don't
yet know your availability, please still tell me anyway.

I'd certainly like to volunteer again this year. I haven't made any plans for the summer yet, but I'll try to fit them around it.

Hi,

I'm interested. I would need accommodation, though.

Apologies for necroposting, but I thought I'd better confirm that I'm definitely free.

Hi Jack,

Are you still free to help with this? Also, how are you for free time to help with the organisation of things?

Thanks,
Andy

Apologies, that was not intended to go to the list... but it has been
sent to everyone who has registered interest earlier in the year. If you
could reply ASAP, then I'll be able to reply to Tolu and sort out
accommodation for those that need it.

Update:

There's a fair bit to be sorted out. I'm calling David on Monday to see
where we are with a venue, the kit we need to make that venue work, and
our budget for ordering materials.

As far as I can tell, we've got our work cut out slightly over the next
few weeks - we don't have any confirmation from the committee with
regards SR elec kit yet [1], a lot of the Smallpeice kit from previous
years has been plundered, and we need to make a decision on a game.

Also, I have some extra responsibilities at work and have started
looking at houses, so my time is also a thing. If there are folks in
Southampton with the motivation to sort some of these things out [2],
I'd be most grateful, but please keep me informed.

Fortunately, in our favour is the fact that a lot of the organisation
should be fairly quick compared to previous years as we don't have to
change much to deliver a fantastic experience - just look at last year's
feedback.

Thanks,
Andy

[1] Even though we had confirmation of SR support for the summer school
from the SC in November, I've asked twice in the last two months and got
nowhere. All I know is that the elec kit is somewhere in Newbury. I also
have no idea whether the SR monitors and arena materials were kept, and
whether we can use them.

[2] Priorities at the moment:
* Sort out venue and ancilliary equipment
* Set aside, and test SR kit
* Get someone set up on Agressi and start ordering bits, starting with
arena materials.
