Risk assessment questions

Hi all,

Bill Swanton (ECS safety manager) has brought up a couple of questions with our risk assessment:

 

Please insert in the RA regarding first aid support, do you have any FAW?. What age group are those attending, does any member of your support staff have a Disclosure and Barring certificate? If food is involved outside of the lab in the Cube, do any of the visitors have a food allergy that you should be aware off?

I'm not confident that I can answer some of these questions correctly with my current knowledge, so I would be grateful if someone would be able to help me out (in particular, the first aid and DBS stuff).

Smallpeice staff I believe are first aiders, enhanced DBS I'll expect some but not all of us will have (I do). However Smallpeice provide supervisors who stay with the children all week, and act in loco parentis - as I understand, we aren't required to be DBS'd (we're never on a room with children and without supervisors) although it is advantageous.
