Hi all,

The Student Robotics (Southampton) SUSU society will be having an
Extraordinary General Meeting to elect the first committee. It will take
place at 6pm in the Mountbatten Level 4 Seminar Room on the 11th of
November (the Wednesday immediately after kickstart). It will be chaired
by Tom Leese, the president of the interim committee. As interim
secretary, I would like to welcome any nominations for committee
positions. Please send me an email (on or off list) or simply announce
your nomination at the EGM.

Agenda:

* Review of committee positions
* Election of initial official committee
* Review of rest of constitution
* Any Other Business

Currently-proposed committee positions (subject to the review):

* President — Leader of the Southampton Branch
* Secretary — Organises Southampton-specific meetings/wrangles
SUSU-related things
* Treasurer — Handles any budget that the Southampton Branch might have
* Social Secretary — Organises Southampton-specific socials/etc.
(including with other societies)
* Equipment and Safety Officer — Keeps equipment stored at Southampton
organised (including ensuring the inventory is up-to-date), and leads in
ensuring reasonable health and safety vigilance. This will involve
liaising with SUSU and attending the annual H&S training.
