Crime Statistics For SRMNA released

Here is a summary of total crimes recorded by the APD in the SRMNA area for the period Jan. 1, 2011 - March 7, 2011.  These statistics are provided by Pete M. Gelabert, Crime Prevention Specialist Northwest Area Command, Albuquerque Police Dept. Cottonwood Mall Police Sub-Station 505-897-8803 e-mail pgel...@cabq.gov Residential Burglaries: 7 Auto Burglaries: 3 Commercial Burglaries: 0 Stolen Vehicles: 4 Vandalism: 3 The highest days for calls for police is Tuesdays.  The highest times for calls for police is between 1:00p & 5:00pm. Another way to stay current with police and criminal activity in our area is to go to http://www.crimereports.com and sign up (it's free!) to get regular e-mail alerts for recent criminal activity in our area.  If you don't want to sign up for alerts, you can go to the site at any time you wish, and simply do a search by date range, neighborhood, and type of crime to get the data you need.
