I am happy to infirm you all that Some of our friends received SMS from SRM that convocation on 24th March 2015. I have also spoken to saranraj and info is true.we need to fill our details in SRM website and its last date is 20th March 2015.

Dr. Harsh Vardhan
Dr. Harsh Vardhan is the Minister of Science and Technology and Earth Sciences, Government of India. He was elected from the constituency of Chandni Chowk in Delhi as a Member of Parliament in the 16th Lok Sabha. Dr. Harsh Vardhan believes that progress and modernisation means adopting lifestyles that reflect collective maturity and vision. He has campaigned relentlessly against corruption and mal-governance. He won the respect and admiration of Delhites for defending their human, civic, environmental and consumer rights.
He obtained his MBBS and MS with specialisation in ENT from GSVM Medical College in Kanpur. Dr. Vardhan joined the Indian Medical Association's Delhi Chapter and worked hard to build up solidarity of medical practitioners.
Dr. Vardhan as the State Minister of Health in 1994 oversaw the successful implementation of the pilot project of the Pulse Polio Programme which involved the mass immunisation of 1 million children up to the age of 3 in Delhi. Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee honoured him with Rotary International's "Polio Eradication Champion Award". He is the first Indian to receive this prestigious award, which earlier went to former British Prime Minister John Major, US President Bill Clinton, former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan and other famous international personalities.
He is the first Indian nominated to the prestigious WHO body, the Strategic Advisory Group of Experts (SAGE), in which capacity he counseled the international body on developing policies on vaccines and biologicals. He is a life member of the Council for International Affairs and Human Rights, International Medical Parliamentarians Organisation, the Delhi Society for Promotion of Rational Use of Drugs, the Antar Rashtriya Sahyog Parishad and similarly recognised organisations.

IMPORTANT :
Photo of the below Specification is must for online Registration. File size should be less than 80 KB.
The photograph should be in colour and of the size of 2 inch x 2 inch (51mm x 51mm).
The photo-print should be clear and with continuous-tone quality.
It should have full face, front view, eyes open.
Photo should present full head from top of hair to bottom of chin.
Center head within frame.
The background should be plain and light coloured.
There should not be any distracting shadows on the face or on the background.
Head coverings are not permitted except for religious reasons, but the facial features from bottom of chin to top of forehead and both edges of face must be clearly shown.
The expressions on the face should look natural
The same photograph will be printed in the degree certificate.. The photo upload process should be completed on or before March 16, 2015. If the photo upload is not completed before the last date, no photographs will be printed in the degree certificate

Hope most of you are already registered in SRM website for convocation. Last date for online registeration is 20-03-2015. Hurry up.
Rs.400 is required for convocation Robe (dress/coat).Rs. 100 is rental and Rs.300 will be refunded up on return of Robe.
Pls come to TP Ganesan auditorium by 7:30 am in the 24th March morning.
