Hi all!
I know that everyone would be really tired by now after giving a host of internal exams and practical tests! And not only that, you all will be preparing for your external practicals and University Exams which await us on second week of October...
But as most of you will be knowing, Sun has announced the
Code for freedom contest and we have a great opportunity to explore some of the mind-blowing technologies + WIN GREAT PRIZES!
So, we have decided with due permission of our HOD, Prof M.B.Chandak to hold a seminar to introduce you to the COFF contests, its scope and the direction we will follow to participate and contribute towards it. Besides we will see how we can make plug-ins for Netbeans IDE hands on!
Date: 3rd October 2008
Time: 11AM to 1PMVenue: Lab-1,
CS Block. As usual, me and Mr. Vasusen Patil will share the talk.
I think that though all of us are really wary of exams, this may prove to be a nice refreshing break from curriculum studies! This seminar is not compulsory to attend but I would advice you not to miss it. (We have some really interesting project ideas to share!)
And for III Year students, most of you will work on these technologies as your VI Sem project! So, make a point you attend it!
