Hi.

We are very lucky to have amongst us Tushar Sir, who has joined this
group. Tushar Sir is a complete java enthusiast and teacher. He has
also taken initiative and started the Nagpur JUG(Java Users Group).

The link to this group is http://groups.google.com/group/jugnagpur/

I advice all SRKNEC Sun Club members to join this group too. It is the
perfect platform for placing any java related queries and you can
expect instant replies from some experienced professionals including
Tushar Sir.

The group site is at http://www.jugnagpur.com and is under
construction phase.

Project Page:
https://jugnagpur.dev.java.net/

Mailing List: http://groups.google.com/group/jugnagpur

Wiki: http://jugnagpur.wikispaces.com/

Group Blog: http://jugnagpur.blogspot.com

Any suggestions and ideas are welcome!

Regards.

Thanks Jay, for this introduction to JUGNagpur

Today if we visit the http://www.netbeans.org/community/commdocs.html NetBeans Site Page, we can see contributions done by community towards the NetBeans documentation.  You can see my name in that page today for three contributions.

I want many more contributions from Java User Group Nagpur to appear on this page.  I suggest we keep a list of contributions done by JUGNagpur members and community on our JUG Wiki.  After all we have to start building our wiki.

One more suggestion is if you answer to some technical query, try writing the answer in wiki in article form and post the link to the article to the mailing list.  This way we can build a searchable archive of technical knowledge base for our Java User Group.

I welcome you all to Java User Group Nagpur.  This is one more community for you after SRKNEC Sun Club, but this is encompassing the whole Nagpur and which makes you reach farther in the technical community.

If you have not yet joined the JUG Mailing List, please do that from
http://groups.google.com/group/jugnagpur

If you have not yet signed up as a user in JUGNagpur site please do that from
http://www.jugnagpur.com

Let us rock the Java World friends with the community power and synergy.

with regards
Tushar

Sir,

I have also contributed 4 docs to the Netbeans Wiki. It is not as crucial as Netbeans.org but netbeans wiki has also gained acceptance worldwide.

And as far as the students are concerned, I think they usually contribute to netbeans wiki only. So I think we could also add netbeans wiki contributions to our website if you like...

Thanks.

Hi Jay,

I think we both are talking about the same thing :)
The page I mentioned only shows the links of the NetBeans Community Docs Wiki.

My point was that wiki gets reflected on the main site and wiki is a great way of contributing.

with regards
Tushar
