Please join for a divine music concert of kirtans and bhajans by Arjun Adapalli on Friday, Nov. 11th From 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm at the temple.
Arjun’s Introduction:
Arjun Adapalli who is Radha mataji's nephew is a playback singer and performer from Austin, Texas.
His musical training began at the age of 7, when he started learning Carnatic music under the tutelage of Chitravina N. Ravikiran and Vishaal Sapuram. He performed his debut Carnatic concert or “Arangetram” at the age of 12. He then went on to compete and place in various local and national competitions, including the prestigious Cleveland Tyagaraja Aradhana competition.
He began to receive international attention after winning first prize in ETV's Padutha Theeyaga reality series in 2014. He later on completed in Vijay TV's Airtel Super Singer Season 5 in 2016, in which he reached the Top 5.
Arjun also has a great affinity to spirituality. He enjoys listening to discourses from various spiritual leaders, and he practices pranayama and meditation regularly.
