In the evolution of life, only unfurling of qualities and quantities
of species of organisms but, there will not be equality. That is,
development of diversity in unity only! Thought, examination, although
is considered as uniqueness of human being, in that too, from the
viewpoint of race, there is no equality. For that very reason,
physically, mentally, human being,being established at complete level,
even after attaining the development of society, the improvement of
knowledge, with division of time, will not be applicable, for the
entire race. For
that very reason, in the ‘past’ too, even in the present time, except
for only difference of number,in knowledgeable persons, that is, not
applicable for the entire human race.

From the viewpoint of society, although all the human beings are
considered as one only, along with physical, mental variation, in the
‘boundary of thought’ – prudence – acquisition of knowledge, variation
is evident. The causes, rationales for that may be numerous. Similar
to although ‘bio’ (matter) is the same, organism, ways of living are
different, in crores of human beings, in different ways,only few as
intellectuals, that why is it happening with limitation in number, is
indeed matter of interest, for the search of cause!

For the feeling of movement, for the discretion of thought,
physically, center of brain, senses, are cooperation for that. This
is, although accompanied by visibility, the mind that is formed
thereby, is in invisible existence. Well then, such a thing called,
‘mind’, means…, there is clear meaning, definition.

No one knows what is mind, but everyone feels it is (the) mind.

For the execution of daily life, for the acquisition of knowledge, for
intelligence, although that itself is the center, only its usage but,
that what is known, to human being, about it is very less only! So
also, even the information relating to brain, which is its instigative
center, is almost the same! That which is not known in detail about it
itself is, more percent. The explanation, relating to mind, is in the
previous pages, principally, in the book, ‘The Ascension of Mind’.

In the present reference let us examine, in the direction of its
functional ascension.The brain seems to be the rain of thoughts that
of the feelings and views. Its mind is of a perennial flow of ideas
and also the glow of its ‘Self’. Though the fiction of fluxion and the
duplex reflection of the intellect seems to be complexity and
perflexity, YET the mind is an essential aspect of life!

Generally the thoughts are of a few, as, only five senses are there to
be caused for them. So, to make them the few (the) meditation is to,
be used; but no need of making them ‘few’. Though the human mind is in
a multifarious diversity…..,ultimately, there is one, i.e., the life.

“That is to be:
The sensory mind of its thought orient;
The functional mind of its subconscious intellect;
The intuitive mind of its awareness; the conscience
The divine mind of its cosmical consciousness; and
The culminate – mind, is of its supreme Absolute.
The mind is to be transcended to be so.

Thought, is not unique only for human being. Sense of touch is, indeed
characteristic of organism! That is, the beginning for the feeling.
Feeling, is the cause for thought. This is, the incitement for karma.

For touch, sense, because of its instigation, the chemical activity,
which happens in the brain, causes the feeling. However its qualities
and quantities may be, for every organism, sensual contact, is
inevitable. Feeling, thought, is the consequence after that.

If so, in human physical, mental, formation and execution, more than
other organism,there is uniqueness; there is potency.For that very
reason, in the Nature, human, acquired importance; acquired
possession. In the order of this knowledge, thought, expedition, and
discretion, science – technology has developed; is developing. There
is special place, for philosophical knowledge.

Family based, social life, and its developmental improvement, in the
progress of ascension of knowledge and talent that had continued, has
been continuing right from the aboriginal state, until the modern
level, even the civilization underwent development. In accordance with
that only, living – life, increase of wealth. Like this, human
knowledge has spread, as social, economic – religious – philosophical
– education and cultural, divisions.

Although the uniqueness of formation of, human, brain itself, is the
cause for this, this, from the viewpoint of species, will not be
applicable equally, for all human beings. The reason present for that
has to be researched. The thought process of human being itself, will
be present on the life.

It is viewed, through personal experience only, that for human being,
thoughts, will be in countless number, that the instability of citta
is excess, that for that very reason, there will not be rest for mind,
and that tension, depression will be caused. Moreover, that the speed
of movement of mind would be enormous, that only in controlling, it,
peace, comfort, would be obtained, for human being, and as a path of
prevention for that along with many other ways; by considering yoga –
meditation as beneficial, they are being considered, as a part in the
activity of life.

In that,there is certainty – benefit. If so, that to what extent, are
they, by understanding the personal experience, present with them, as
standard, should obtain the answer.For thought, and its severity,
primary is sense only! Although seed is one only, its sprout, trunk
are one only – its root – branches, sub-branches (twigs), are many. So
also,the senses, which are the instigative cause for thought,
separately, one, on the whole, five only!

That means, to say that the thoughts, which are caused, through them,
principally,will be as five ways only is indeed clear! In the
fertilization of organism, the first combined living cell (zygote) is
one only! Thereafter, with the incitation of cell division, the basic
cells – on and on – with crores of living cells, various organs, only
one body is being formed; although life is only one, in the path of
livelihood (living), in the course of life, ‘many’, keep happening;
their qualities and quantities are different.

The sensuous nature itself, determines its thought process,
characteristic. If so, the way of thought of mind, which appears in
the brain through one sense, and pertaining to it, as branches and sub-
branches, spreading as many, although their number is felt as many,
the sense, which is the instigative cause for it, is one only! So
also, the number of entire thoughts, which are caused through senses,
although is felt as very big, if they are ‘sorted’ out they will be of
five types only.
