I request the association to credit my share of the un utilised corpus fund ( Total amount collected+ Interest accrued - amount spent for activities planned under corpus fund divided by 12) to my bank account.

Happy Dusshera to you and your family members.

All the house owners paid money (Rs 1.50 Lakhs per flat if I am correct) towards corpus fund. This was deposited in the bank account for carrying out repair, maintenance and painting of the building. Many works were carried out by the team. My sincere thanks to the team members and residents for the successful implementation of the various repair activities.

As mentioned in my mail dated May 15,2020 (Trial mail) I informed that I will pay the annual maintenance amount for the year 2020-2021. But I have not received any reply so far.

• Please share details of corpus fund deposited, spent for the activities planned while collecting the fund and the amount left out so far.
• I have attached a simple excel sheet which may be filled and shared with all for ease of understanding

All the teams have done extremely well in all these years. My sincere appreciation to one and all. 

I saw a message in whatsapp stating that EB charges for common area has to be paid.  There was no communication from any one for payment of Annual maintenance charges. Hence I have not credited the amount so far.

Ms. Dinaka has paid Rs 20,000 from her personal amount for water and other expenses. Please let me know when and how much to be paid for annual maintenance and the same will be credited.

The payment for EB and other day to day running charges may not be deducted from Corpus fund. This is a kind request to all.

As mentioned in the trail-mail, we would like to handover the current association responsibilities to next team. For the same, please find attached Srishti association passbook entry & CAM expenditure sheet updated till March 2020. 

Kindly note that for April & May 2020, the ongoing expenses (salaries, water tanker lorry procurement, other expenses) of Rs. 20,000 have been paid from my personal funds, which needs to be reimbursed back to me from the association account.   

Looking forward towards the new team nominating themselves to completing the handing over with the incoming new team.

Dear all

 

It is strongly advised to pay attention to water usage. We have noticed;-

 

• Substantial increase in consumption
• Leaking taps in few flats wasting gallons of water. Residents need to immediately fix leaking taps without any delay to avoid closure of main valve to the corresponding flats
• Lower incoming water from corporation

 

A tanker load was bought on Friday, we need to avoid/ reduce future purchases.

 

Use water judiciously;- ideas to reduce consumption are welcome.

Hello Mr. Balaji and All,

As some of you are aware, myself (Ravi Flat 12),  Mr. Ramesh (Flat 1) and Mr. Ravishankar (Flat 2 - tenant) has taken over the association posts of Secretary, Treasurer and President respectively from 19th of October 2020, the day when we completed the formalities of official in charge of signing authorities with the bank. We have no intention to keep the unused corpus fund in the association account, indeed I was the one who first asked to refund the money long back but at that time it was refused and no one supported. We are in the peak of monsoon now and we thought we can start some other pending tasks like installation of CCTV cameras, leakage fixing for the entire building (and painting if possible) and a new bore well (if needed) somewhere in Jan or Feb 2021 once the monsoon is over and then handover the tasks and posts to the next commitee members from April 1, 2021 onwards to continue. I guess Jan or Feb 2021 is not too far before the corpus fund can be refunded. But considering the situation now, we are going for polling for Yes or No option asking for the opinion whether to continue with the pending works in Jan or Feb or a refund. Majority will be considered (6+ votes) and the decision will be taken accordingly.

If refund of corpus fund is decided, request someone to come over, check the balance sheet, discuss with earlier association team in case of more details required on corpus spent, calculate, arrive the refund, agree with all and distribute the remaining corpus fund accordingly because we don't know how to calculate and also not interested.

If continuing the pending tasks is decided, we request support from others in order to complete the tasks. Since it is time bound and depends upon the weather conditions, we can't guarantee which tasks will be completed before we handover to the next team. At the end of this FY, the balance sheet will be published and the next team or the interested persons can come over, check the balance sheet, calculate, arrive the refund, agree with all and distribute the remaining corpus fund accordingly if you want to do so.

We also wish to add, if there is any objection for us to not to continue the posts, let us know and we are happy to handover the posts immediately. Wish to mention that we took over the posts because no one was willing to take over, there were too many dues pending to be distributed and we took over mainly to run the day to day operations.

Request all of you to reply your suggestion within a week - Yes, continue the pending tasks or No, refund the corpus fund to decide the next course of action.

Poll opinion results will be consolidated and published next weekend. Failure to reply or no reply will be considered as willing for a refund.

FYI, the balance sheet handed over by Mrs. Dinaka (Flat 4, former Treasurer) updated until the tab 2020-21 and further updates from us in the new tab (ExpenditurebyNewTeamfromOct20) after we took over is attached here. In case if you have any queries, please reach out Mrs. Dinaka for updates prior to handover and Mr. Ramesh post handover.

Thank you very much for the detailed mail. I really appreciate the efforts taken by all in getting so many works completed. When need for corpus fund was raised, I readily agreed to pay the amount.

During the month of May 2020, I raised the issue of payment towards annual maintenance (please see trail mail).

My concern is that the corpus fund should not be used for the operational expenditures like paying salary to watchman, purchase of water, repair, AMC or lift, etc. These were not part of the activities planned when corpus fund was raised. The corpus fund should be used only for the activities for which it was raised. Extract from the excel sheet provided below. These activities are not to be paid out of Corpus fund

Further, I do not subscribe to the plan of polling ,  yes or no for refund or not of corpus fund. If some one wants to maintain the corpus fund with the association, let him do so. In my case I want the fund back and I will re credit the amount when you finalise starting of the activities planned under corpus. Majority decisions cannot be considered for repaying my fund. I do not accept the plan.  The amount which I have paid cannot be used for the monthly operation expenditure. 

Hence please refund the my part of the money. I will recredit when you start the work.

 Please check the statute of the association to know whether society fund have to be audited at the end of each FY.

Please credit the amount under intimation to me
