INTRODUCTION :-

Kouravas are hundred in numbers. They represent the 'Dur-vasanas' ( dirty vasanas ) of human mind. Whereas Pandavas are opposite, 'Sadvasanas' ( pure vasanas ) .

Mahabharadha-yudham ( war ) is happening continuously in every one. Whatever we ready to do, some thing push back from the action. In numbers and strength, the opposing emotions have high hand whereas actions have no strength at all. when this inner struggle goes on we are almost like Arjuna.

Mahabharatham teaches us that : "Though 'Asadvasanas are more than Sadvasanas, nobody need to disheartened. If the available Sadvasanas are made ready and fall in,  under the leadership of Lord Srikrishna, the Asadvasana community- the weak emotions- attachments are extinguished (destroyed ), thereafter complete victory is assured" this what Mahabharatham shows us.

Kouravas who represent the human mind's Adarmika natures and papa-vasanas, are the off-springs of Drutarashtra ( blind by birth ) and Gandhari ( takes blind by closing the eyes by a cloth tied on ). The mind which do not see the Truth, is blind. Usually the blind mind, when joins with  the one ( buddhi ) which is not ready to see the truth, that unholy relationship, results in unholy products, the Kouravas.

Human body ( 'Krukshatra, the Dharma kshetram' ) is a tool to to gain Atmasreyas following Dharmam. There, when Sadhakan ( the one who leads good natures) sees, the bad and good elements are ready to clash, fed by the powerful discriminating buddhi, in order to witness the strength of the enemy, goes and take position between two armies. This inner examination ( meditation ) results in the awareness, that his position in danger, thereafter completely fell into emotions. The seeker who has to fight and win over the inner enemies, finds that he is unable to do so, forgetting his 'Svadharmam'.

"In this chapter(1):  ARJUNAVISHADAYOGAM - this ( the status of Arjuna's difficult situation ) is pictured in great detail".

The aim of this text starts from the first slokam, is the speciality in Sanskrit literature. Continuing,  that idea is analaysed  in detail, its experience is positioned in the last slokam (78), last chapter (18). STARTS IN "DHARMAKSHTRE..............................MATHAM MAMA". ENDS IN.

The meaning of the term 'Dharmam' is very broad, the value, which combines  the matter's ( thing's) different components and gunas ( qualities)  in one, and sustain it, in its, independent  and complete, full form" is called  'Dharmam'. Though we mean character/conduct, duty, charity, by the term Dharmam, but those are not the true definition of Dharmam."The truth which sustains a thing in its own truth is the dharmam of that thing". For example, the dharmam of fire is heat; and of Sun's is brightness (shining).

Anyhow, as in ordinary thinking, not only simple virtue, but also the main quality of a thing is indicated here. If a thing is to sustain, then its main property should be in it. Cold, dark Sun will not be found, heat and brightness makes Sun a Sun. ( that is the main property- Dharmam. Our true form of atma is atma chaithanyam, then we understand this, feel this, and live in this.Bhagavadgeeta narrates this. Each person should follow the teachings and attain the goal geeta points to him/her, as mama dharmam ( my dharmam).
