By the mercy of Acharyas, on the auspicious
occasion of Thai Ammavasai this Thursday, 11th February 2021, Srimaan Trust,
with the support of magnanimous contributors, and humble servitors successfully
culminated Annathanam distribution and Gho Pooja.
With an enthusiastic heart of indulging in devotional service, the employees of the trust drove to 25 villages in and around Srirangam and distributed Bhagavad Prasadam to more than 2000 underprivileged families at their doorstep. By giving one receives more. These words were brought to life when an inexplicable joy splashed over the faces of the recipients, and this in turn reflected in the eyes of the staffs.
In the evening, Gho Pooja, A special worship of Cows were performed by trustees, employees, contributors and servitors. After paying reverence to the cows, Turmeric was applied all over their bodies, especially at their back where Mahalakshmi resides. Later, they were fed Agathi Keerai and Bananas. Furthermore, Arati and incense were offered to them. In the end, Gho Shuktam from the Vedas were recited.
By worshipping the cows with sincerity especially during thai Ammavasai wipes the ancestral afflictions (Pitru Dosha), thus eliminating negative energies and bringing wealth and prosperity. Apart from all the materialistic benefits, one gets a chance to elevate himself to Satva Guna, (mode of goodness) so easily by being in contact with the cows. This is a type of holy meditation that purifies one's body, mind and spirit. And thus, eventually indulging one in unalloyed service of the Supreme.
Every act of charity is taking us one step closer to the Lotus Feet of the Lord. Thus, Srimaan Trust extends earnest gratitude to all of your valuable engagement and encouragement to move together towards a better society with God-conscious philanthropy.

ஆச்சாரியார்களின் கிருபையால், இச்சுப தினமான தை அமாவாசை பிப்ரவரி மாதம் 11ம் நாள் வியாழக்கிழமையன்று, ஸ்ரீமாந் ட்ரஸ்ட், பரந்த உள்ளங்களின் துணையாலும், எளிய தொண்டர்களாளும் அன்னதானம் மற்றும் கோ பூஜையை வெற்றிகரமாக நடத்தி முடித்தது.
உற்சாகமான மனதுடன், பகவானின் தொண்டாற்ற எங்களது குழு ஸ்ரீரங்கத்தை சுற்றியுள்ள சுமார் 25 கிராமங்களில் வசிக்கும் இயலாத 2000 குடும்பங்களுக்கு வீட்டுக்கு வீடு சென்று பகவத் பிரசாதத்தினை விநியோகித்தனர். அளிப்பதால் பெறலாம் என்ற கூற்றின் படி பிரசாதத்தை பெற்றவர்கள் முகத்திலிருந்து வெளிவந்த ஆனந்தம் அளித்தவர் கண்களில் திருப்தியாய் பிரதிபலித்தது.
மாலையில் பசுமாடுகளுக்கான சிறப்பு கோ பூஜையில், ட்ரஸ்ட் ஊழியர்கள், நன்கொடையாளர்கள், மற்றும் பல தொண்டர்கள் இணைந்து வழிபாட்டில் ஈடுபட்டனர். பசுக்களுக்கு மரியாதை செலுத்தியப்பின், மஹாலஷ்மியின் வசிப்பிடமான அவற்றின் பின் பகுதியில் மஞ்சள் தடவி பூஜித்தனர். பிறகு, அகத்தி கீரை மற்றும் வாழைப்பழங்கள் அளித்து, ஆர்த்தி மற்றும் தூபங்கள் சமர்ப்பித்து வழிபட்டனர். இறுதியில், வேதங்களில் இருந்து, கோ ஸூக்தம் பாடி தை அமாவாசை விழாவை நிறைவு செய்தனர்.
தை அமாவாசை அன்று பசுக்களை மனமார வழிபடுவதன் மூலம் ஒருவரின் பித்ரு தோஷங்கள் அனைத்தும் விலகி, திய சக்திகள் நீங்கி, சௌபாக்கியம் குடிகொள்ளும். இந்நன்மைகளை தவிர, ஒருவர் பசுக்களுக்கு தொடர்பு கொள்வதன் மூலம் எளிதில் சத்வ குணத்திற்கு முன்னேற்றம் பெறலாம். இந்த வகை தியானமானது உடலையும், மனதையும், ஆத்மாவையும் தூய்மை படுத்த வல்லது. இது, முடிவாக ஒருவரை களங்கமற்ற இறை தொண்டில் ஈடுபடுத்தும்.
இப்படிபட்ட ஒவ்வொரு நற்பணியும் பகவானின் தாமரை திருவடிகளை நெருங்க ஒரு படி மேலே அழைத்து செல்கிறது. இஃது, இறை உணர்வுடன் கலந்த பரோபகாரத்தால் நல்லதோர் சமுதாய வளர்ச்சிக்கு துணைபுரியும் மற்றும் ஊக்குவிக்கும் உள்ளங்களுக்கு ஸ்ரீமாந் ட்ரஸ்ட், பிரார்த்தனைகளுடன் மனமார்ந்த நன்றிகளை தங்கள் திருவடியில் சமர்ப்பிக்கின்றது.
